This layered smoothie - made with bananas, mangoes, apples and strawberries - is creamy, sugar-free and gluten-free. As an added bonus, there's a fair amount of protein thanks to the Greek yogurt.

Hey, Wake Up! Smoothie (Banana, Apple, Mango and Strawberry)
Ingredients
  • For the Apple Layer
  • ½ frozen banana
  • ½ cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1 apple, diced
  • 3 oz. (85 g) plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup almond milk

  • For the Strawberry Layer
  • ½ frozen banana
  • ½ cup frozen mango chunks
  • 10 - 12 strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 3 oz. (85 g) plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup almond milk
Directions
  1. Make the Apple layer: Blend the banana half, frozen mango, apple, Greek yogurt, and almond milk until smooth. Divide between two tall glasses.
  2. Make the Strawberry layer: Rinse the blender (optional), and then blend the banana half, frozen mango, strawberries, Greek yogurt and almond milk until smooth. Divide between the glasses (pouring it on top of the Apple Layer). Enjoy!
Notes
If you have an individual tub of plain Greek yogurt, that will be perfect for this recipe. Just add half to each smoothie layer.
